DOOMED BATTALIONS is the Allied Minors Armor and Ordnance Extension to the ADVANCED SQUAD LEADER system. Extensive research into the specifications and usage of the Armored Fighting Vehicles and Ordnance of Poland, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Yugoslavia, and Greece allows you to recreate the valiant efforts of these Doomed Battalions to stem the tide of blitzkrieg.

Extensively revised, this new 3rd edition expands on the previous edition and its eight scenarios by also including the mapboards, Allied Minor infantry counters, and eight scenarios originally published in Module 6, The Last Hurrah! Now you have the entire Allied Minor order of battle and Chapter H notes all in one place. Also included here are eight out of print Allied Minor scenarios previously published in the Annual or Journal. Existing errata for all 24 scenarios have been incorporated, and many of the scenarios have been updated to correct issues of balance. Five beautiful geomorphic "Starter Kit Style" mapboards further extend the flexibility of this most versatile game system. Terrain overlays, including railway overlays, allow you to adapt these and other mapboards to depict many different situations.

Vehicle counters include the 7TPJW, the queen of Poland's armored forces, and Denmark's armed "nimbus", a motorcycle unit mounting and anti-tank gun and anti-aircraft machine gun.
